Between the Bridges Housing Lab – Winter – Spring 2019
Between the Bridges is developing a vision and action plan to “Break the Cycle” that has negatively impacted too many residents of Dartmouth North, for too many generations. OFFERING:
NouLAB partnered with Inspiring Communities to deliver a 5 day engagement with multi-stakeholder teams on the topic of housing in Dartmouth North.
BACKGROUND:
A short-term multi-stakeholder engagement designed to bring teams together around launching solutions to affordable housing in the neighborhood of Dartmouth North.
IMMEDIATE OUTCOMES:
- Three teams dedicated to working on novel approaches to affordable housing.
- Co-design of the process with host organization.
- Multiple teams working to prototype solutions with support from the NouLAB team.
INTERMEDIATE OUTCOMES:
Teams are still cohesive and working towards their goals 6 months later.
LONG-TERM OUTCOMES:
New housing solutions that have traction for the long-term
