NouLAB is the social and public innovation lab of the Pond-Deshpande Centre (PDC) and a driving force for change in New Brunswick. As a program of PDC, NouLAB helps public sector leaders, entrepreneurs, and community innovators tackle the province’s most pressing social, environmental, and economic challenges. By bringing together changemakers from across sectors, convening them around complex issues, and guiding them through the process of deep, systemic change, NouLAB makes problem-solving smarter, more collaborative, and more effective.
“Social innovation is the process of developing and deploying effective solutions to challenging and often systemic social and environmental issues in support of social progress. Social innovation is not the prerogative or privilege of any organizational form or legal structure. Solutions often require the active collaboration of constituents across government, business, and the nonprofit world.” — Sarah A. Soule, Neil Malhotra, Bernadette Clavier
